I assume something is wrong with the security system and a fuse or circuit breaker is broke, but I don't know where to look.
Why does the horn no longer beep on my 2002 Envoy when I use the remote to lock the doors?
I think the wire to the horn is corroded or broken. It might be a bad transistor in the security unit itself.
Reply:either a bad fuse or a blown ground wire is most likely the problem with the horn... fuse goes out the horn won't blow, bad ground wire the fuse won't either blow or it'll constantly blow...
Reply:Look in the owner's manual. There are setting on the remote door locks that turn on and off the horn sound when locking/unlocking doors. It is possible that you inadvertently changes the settings.
