Does anyone seriously still think that mormons practice polygamy or have horns?
It is a bit annoying at times. Where I live, the LDS population is quite small and every single person I work with thinks 1) polygamy 2) not a christian 3) satanic temple rituals and so forth.





I live in a country where I think people are so sick of religion as it was shoved down their throat for so many centries, that now, it is very difficult to find people who are open to feeling the spirit.





I used to find it funny, but now I find it really quite sad, and wish there was something more we could do to build the Church, especially in areas where there has been little to no growth in the past 10 years.

People have asked to see my horns (this has only been asked to me by people in the Eastern US for some reason).





The Polygamy issue is more understandable, but still many believe that mormons are polygamists.





FYI you CAN'T be a mormon and a polygamist. You'll get excommunicated.
Reply:no but i do think that they argue that the only reason blacks are allowed to be Mormon now is because god ran out of good pure white bodies to put good souls into and had to scrap up some blacks bodies to put souls into. which is both really racist and offensive to who they see as god, who apparently is not then all powerful. (that's why they didn't allow black Mormon priests until the 70s)





i don't even refer to their god as G-d.

My only question is why do they always go to other faiths to ask about LDS, that is like asking a plumber how to do electrical work. He may know a little bit about electrical but nowhere near as much as the electrician. If you want honest answers for something then you should go STRAIGHT TO THE SOURCE.





I guess I will go have my 3 wives help me sharpen my horns. (wink, wink). I don't know about the other members but I always pull my horns in when I am in public, and have long hair to help cover them.

Reply:They may not have horns, but they wear silly underwear to go to church, what's up with that? And why would any woman with any kind of brain want to marry a mormon male if, according to the mormon church, he gets to decide if she goes to heaven with him?
Reply:Many of the Mormon splinter groups in Utah still practice polygamy. The Mormon church still would too if it wasn't politically incorrect.
