I'm wondering if there is a book that will help me with my french horn playing. Are there any good books you recommend? I'm particulary interested in technique and embochure. Some exercises would be nice too, but that's not a must.
Do you know any good french horn books?
Art of French Horn Playing by Farkas is a must. I would also recommend Kopprasch and Maxime Alphonse. Potag is also anther good one but I have not used it.

Reply:Go to a music store and pick up the type of music you want to play. You can practice your scales and then put it together with your choice of music.
