My car horn is no longer working how can I fix it?

I drive a 2000 dodge stratus and my car horn is not honking any more. Does anyone know if theres a fuse to it or what might fix it?

Check the Fuse first, if the fuse is good, grab a test light or a multi-meter and check for power at the horn connector, if you have power there, its time to get a new horn

Reply:u either need to replace a fuse under the dashboard or buy a new horn. if a new horn doesnt work then i suggest u take it to a mechanic so u dont mess up with the fuses. unless u think u know what ur doing...
Reply:FIRST TAKE CLASSES TO UNDERSTAND ELECTRICITY..THEN ENROLL IN A GOOD AUTO TECH SCHOOL THEN WHEN YOU FINISH YOU MIGHT HAVE THE KNOWLEDGE TO MAKE THE REPAIR YOURSELF...OTHERWISE TAKE IT TO A MECHANIC OR BUY SOME WIEINIES FOR THE FIRE YOU WILL HAVE WHEN YOU SHORT OUT YOUR WIRING

Reply:check your cigarette lighter,,,,, if its not working either,,, its probably the fuse,,,,, the horn and lighter should be fused together.





its probably just the fuse..... change it.
