Bought one yesterday would like to know more info about their behaviour, how to handle, how long they live for etc etc. Ours seems a bit moody! Won't let us handle him.
Does anyone know any information about horned agamas?
I don't know if anyone even knows how long they live. Or if much study has been done on their behaviour.
You should have looked into everything about these animals BEFORE you bought one.
I assumed this is a Mountain Horned Agamas.
Was it captive bread or wild caught?
Did you know thousands of these lizards are wild caught and imported each year. They are hard to breed in captivity, so much easier to get them from the wild.
The treatment of imported animals is horrible. Especially these, because the heads of the dead ones can bring more money than a live lizard!!
By purchasing one of these you are supporting this practice of importing and cruel treatment of the animals.

* Help stop importation of helpless wild animals that are destined to die, buy only Captive Bred animals.
