Why animals having horns r more affected by lightning ?

Lightning is usually attracted to some type of conductor, typically metal or the highest object in the area. I never heard of horns making animals more likely to be struck by lightning. If it does, I would think it would be from their horns being the highest point in the near area, such as if they are in a field or something.

Why animals having horns r more affected by lightning ?
Who says they are?!? What?!?!
Reply:A horn is a hollow, pointed projection of the skin of various animals, consisting mainly of keratin as well as other proteins. True horns are found only among the ruminant artiodactyls, in the families Antilocapridae (pronghorn) and Bovidae (cows, buffalo, yaks, goats, antelope etc.). Those animals have one or two pairs of horns, which usually have a spiral shape.

Since horns are an extension of the skin, they have blood vessels in them, allowing the horns to function as a radiator to cool the blood.

So, it is highly conductive and acts an antana.

So, animals having horns r more affected by lightning .
