How do I serve mead in my restaurant?

I want to know the right glass to serve mead (no horns please)

How do I serve mead in my restaurant?
A small flute or snifter are the typical serving vessels. No more than 5 ounces or actual mead is the average serving size.

Though I have heard of it being served in small mugs... Over kill if you ask me. Mead is far to sweet to drink more than a few ounces at a time.
Reply:Serve it in the same glass you serve your table wine in.

I buy a drink for the liquid and not the container its served in :)
Reply:I would be tempted to serve it in a balloon glass or snifter to showcase the aroma.
Reply:haha just serve it in whatever in my opinion...i mean...most people could care less what its served in and just want the mead. i wouldn't mind some myself right now...
Reply:I can't see anything wrong with a small lager glass.
Reply:a pewter tanker (jug) would be a nice touch.
