I reazlized today that every type of car has a horn that sounds a bit diffrent, and was wondering what it is that makes them go.
And if they ever wear out..
How does the horn on a car work?
Nothing but a relay attached to a noise maker. Push on the horn button, make the circuit and walla noise!
Reply:yea car horns wear out. there are diffent ones , you can buy a compressed air horn that is loud , and electric ones that can do anything from beeping to playuing music.
Reply:All horns work off the ground of the car. When the horn is pressed it completes the ground which allows the horn to blow.
Reply:A small electrical charge makes a tiny elf blow a horn.
