Who thinks the Philidelphia horn is a bit much?

Who thinks that the Flyers horn blows for about 5 or 8 seconds too long?

Who thinks the Philidelphia horn is a bit much?
I counted 14 or 15 seconds on the Flyers goal horn. I have no idea what the average is.

They actually blast two goal horns. They are Kahlenberg's S-203C model, designed for boats over 246 feet and reaching 140dB. Basically, they were designed for navigating cruise ships.

you might look at this differently if our 17 year playoff streak had turned into a drought. the flyers team, and the city of Philly has a lot to celebrate. who are we to stop them?
Reply:It IS a bit long, methinks. It's not something that really bothers me though. On a side note, I think "Bro Hymn" suits the Flyers. I'm not sure why. Perhaps because it has a dark quality about and I consider the Flyers to be the Dark Side of the Force? Haha.
Reply:That is the coolest horn in the league. They took a cruise ship horn and put it in the stadium. That is just awesome. My least favorite horns are the sirens, like Washington's
