I have discovered a new species (I think), How do I register it and claim the prize money?

I was building my Xenu shelter and came across petrified remains of what looks to be an ancient burial ground of small rodents (all under 3' in length) with huge ivory tusks(2.5" each) and wing remains. It looks like a sabortoothed bat, or a carnivorous flying gerbil-squirrel... I know they are not bats because of horns. It's like as if someone gave a chihuahua some Dracula teeth and glued some wings on it. Weird..

That does it.
Reply:I have those things at my house. Seems like twice a week when I go to take a shower there's one stuck in the tub and can't get out, acting all bitchy and hissing and stuff. I'm not sure what they are but I have GOT to get the house sprayed before they kill me in my sleep one night.
Reply:WOW You hit the jackpot for sure, careful as it may have relatives that are alive but really protective of their ivory tucks,It sounds like part rodent; part american hamster,Watch out for the sharp teeth as they can poke an eye out or another bodily organ...Good luck with your findings and enjoy your billions., Shelly
Reply:you're sure it's not a "Marla" sounds an awful lot like I feel today.
Reply:send a sample to a university for identification,if it is a new species you can name it sorry about the prize money
Reply:Sorry to disappoint you but what you describe is certainly the remains of Rodentovespertilius magnodentatus, the tusked batrat. It has already been named.
Reply:I think the interesting thing about your find is that it could be one of your ancestors. Imagine a flying rodent with horns evolving into an aquatic one capable of living life in the water. Have you ever checked to see if you have any remnants of horns on your body? As for the tusks anything that size that can fly and has tusks must have been one bad sumnabeech!
Reply:i don't think there is "prize money" for discovering new species. you can have it named after you though!
