How bad do you think the Oklahoma will beat Texas this year in the Red River Shootout?

The Horns have struggled against every team they have played this year. TCU was not too surprising at the time, but turns out they aren't quite who we thought they were anyways. The Sooners have destroyed every team they have played. Even a pretty talented Miami squad. I don't think the Horns have much of a shot judging by this years performance so far.

How bad do you think the Oklahoma will beat Texas this year in the Red River Shootout?

Reply:i think it will be a very close game. texas has been playing the first three games without their two best WR's. they took hits on the defense and o-line last year in the draft.





so far OU has been the better team but when it comes to a rivalry people seem to play up. close game but Texas losses.





i really hope Texas wins though.

Reply:If the Longhorns defense doesnt learn to play against the pass it is going to be down right ugly. Mack Brown does less with more than any coach out there. Oklahoma is looking for another title, Texas is looking for its identity. That does not bode well for them in the up coming game.

Reply:I agree with most of the above. However, there will be several key players comming back as of next week and Texas should up their game a bit. It will be close, as OU hasn't played any talent yet, and Bradford is still untested. Close game in the end.
Reply:I think the game will stay close, I'm an OU fan, but I admit that Texas has a great team. Both seem to be very good on both sides of the ball. McCoy has struggled some this season and I really don't think he will be able to dominate OU's strong secondary. The wildcard in the game is OU's passing game. Bradford has done a great job against North Texas, Miami, and Utah State, but will be facing a good Longhorn defense. I say OU will win it 24-14, in a close game that shows us how big the Red River rivalry is.

Unless Texas has a really good game or Oklahoma has a really bad one, Texas probably won't win.

Reply:I think OU is gonna beat them pretty bad. Its starting to look like there is only 3 really great teams this year, OU, LSU and USC. Everyone else seems to be really mediocre.
Reply:The Longhorns pulled out the win against UCF, but they weren't impressive in their first two games either. Oklahoma looks unbeatable, but it's a rivalry game and Texas should be at their best, but I would still predict Oklahoma winning by at least two TDs.
