Why do most motorists blow their horns as they pass my jcb????

it used to p i s s me off when cars went past beeping their horns but now i realise that they just want to get up to a decent speed so that they can really smash themselves up when they crash

i moved out into the country 18mts ago and have never blown my horn at a tractor. although i am very mindful of the many horse-and-riders we get along our lanes round here: i always give a big toot to let them know i'm right behind them, just in case they didn't notice me. but i cant work out why the fist shaking as i pass. maybe it's a kind of country wave thing that only the locals know about........

Reply:They probably think there are enough hold-ups on our roads without getting stuck behind your JCB. Perhaps you should pull over once in a while and let them pass then they would thank you rather than rant at you ???
