Mounting kits for ram horns?

Does anyone know where/if I can purchase a mounting kit for ram horns? I am going to be hunting Dall/Corsican rams in the near future, and want to mount the horns (I don't want a head/body mount or anything fancy like that).

Obviously, there are a ton of mounting kits for deer antlers...but I see none for rams.

Thanks!

try van dykes taxidermy supply, the dont offer a kit like your thinking about but they do have skull cleaning kits and panels for european mounts
Reply:Cant say as I have ever seen one. you could always fabricate your own using the deer mount kit as a template to start from, or do a european mount of the skull and horns. either way is quite simple
Reply:Cabela's, Gander Mountain, and Brass Pro all sell mounting kits. You can mount whatever kind of horns or or antlers you want on them. They probably don't have kits for Moose or Elk but deer, sheep, rams, antalope, jackalope, etc will work fine on the kits that they sell. Just pick out one that you like and mount your horns on it according to the directions. If you don't see what you want, ask your local taxidermist or taxidermy supply if they will sell you one. Another possibility would be to go to a cabinet shop and have one made to your specifications. All they are is a plaque. If you want the horns set at a different angle, just have them make a small shelf set at the proper angle for you to mount the horns on. You can cover the skull plate with a bit of fabric or leather if you wish. As they say "This ain't no hard step for a real strutter".
