What do you think of installing a locomotive horn on my car, to blow at RUDE drivers?

I mean, the ones that cut you off within inches of your bumper, not use a turn signal, tailgate, and all that?

you will probably encounter technical problems doing so.i installed a tractor trailer truck air horn on a old hopped up pickup truck i owned it requires a high pressure air storage tank and was a lot of trouble.i found it effective until i"honked "at some girls and a deputy sheriff did not,t like it (maybe he was jealous) i beat the ticket in court but it still cost me money.good idea and good luck!!!
Reply:I think that would be illegal and could just end up costing you money from paying the tickets....but i am not sure on that one....gl
Reply:Go for it. I installed a train horn on my truck for that reason. It replaced my stock horn and now when I use it there is no doubt that they heard me.

Reply:It is illegal in some states but it would definitely be cool in the right situation

Reply:You may be the one who is charged as a rude driver. Hey if I cut you off,you are now behind me. I wouldn't care if you flashed your boobs in protest....you are behind me.


As for the tailgaters, how will the horn which is in the front of the car help what is going on behind you? Better you have a machine gun or a BIG smoking diesel vehicle. People will stay away then.
Reply:While you're at it you can rig some spot lights onto your trunk or out your back window to blind the drivers behind you that decide to tailgate!
