How many bugs do you eat every day?

If you've ever eaten any food made from grains, like bread, oatmeal, cereal and even beer, you've eaten bugs and plenty of them.

I lived and worked on a farm for many years and I can tell you a truck load of wheat, or oats, or barley, has probably a garbage can's worth of bugs in it. Some crawl, some jump, some stink, some fly, some make weird noises. There are green ones, red ones, yellow ones, black ones and irredescent ones. Some have stingers, some have pinchers, some have horns, some spit juice. Many are pregnant or are carrying their young on them. Some of them have just gone to the bathroom and others are ready to. None of them get removed. They all remain mixed in.

Obviously we don't die from them, but how does that make you feel? Enjoy.

How many bugs do you eat every day?
LOL.

Thanks for the laugh! I can just imagine all the people reading your post squirming and grossing out!

It's life...
Reply:I don't know but I get bitten by aobut 2034982 every day.
Reply:I enjoy it. It's all good protien. I even like that bugs live all over the human body. They help keep us clean and healthy.
Reply:Its protein so it don't bother me. I didn't know that before but knowing it now won't stop me from eating those foods.. I didn't notice it before, so I won't notice it now.
Reply:If I see a bug....I eat it! They are yummy!
Reply:I already heard this from my sociology professor. They used those bugs for food coloring and other nutrition, bugs are HIGH in proteins and they are very nutritious. ALSO, in few months in the food people eat like the ones you mentioned, they will say what kind of bugs they added on the ingredient
Reply:Seven every hour on the hour: It helps to burn off all those unwanted calories.
Reply:I always get those stupid weevils in my Jiffy muffin mix =P But hey, it's protein. So long as they're dead when ya eat 'em.
Reply:None, i don't eat bugs thankyou very much.

Reply:I've eaten bugs and to be honest, I didnt enjoy it. Chicken feet are much more delicious whether they are served barbequed or stewed. I eat at least a dozen a week and i love them. Pork intestines run a close second. I had some today and the flavor was out of this world. I highly recommend chicken feet and pork intestines over bugs any day of the week. As my dear old Grandpa used to say, "Don't knock it until you tried it!"
Reply:Ok This grosses me out. It's good I don't eat bread -this is way too much information dude!
Reply:Does it mean it's practically impossible to be a complete vegetarian?
Reply:YUM!! protein! I guess what we don't know won't hurt us. How do you feel, you must eat them too?
Reply:well as long as i dont c them, i dont really mind......its not that bad cuz bugs r healthy 4 u
Reply:You are just plain mean spirited. This isn't a question... you are trying to ruin as many people's days as you can... as my 2 year old would say, "Not nice!"
